In March 2026, PasarMIKRO held a webinar with SSII (Sustainable Spices Initiative Indonesia) and its members for an open discussion about transparency in Indonesia’s spice supply chains.
The challenge: data lost along the way
Transparency from farmer to exporter is one of the key challenges in Indonesia’s spice supply chains. The data needed for traceability, quality control, certification and financing often gets lost between the farmer and the end user.
Why we focus on transactions
Every transaction is a source of information. That is why we believe digitisation helps solve these challenges: it makes it possible to record, execute and monitor each transaction.
Thank you
We thank all participants for their valuable feedback on improving transparency in Indonesia’s spice supply chains, and Marchela Milenia Rindany in particular for coordinating the session.
